The Winter Showcase is the conclusion of our FALL SEASON (September-December)

The Spring Performance concludes our Winter/Spring season (January-June). The dancers perform dances that they have been working on during the season.

Getting on stage in front of an audience is a big deal! During the season classes, we prepare the dancers with training and rehearsal, and build their confidence so the are prepared and ready for this exciting and memorable experience!

Hi DK Dance Families!

Just wanted to send some information your way regarding our Winter Showcase, Land of Sweets! 🍭✨
This festive showcase is a little glimpse into what our dancers have been working on in class. We began preparations just before Halloween, and over just a few short weeks your dancers have been learning some choreography, building confidence, and getting ready to share some holiday cheer!

Our goal is to give families a fun, heartwarming peek at classwork in progress—nothing too formal, just a joyful celebration of learning, growth, and the FUN and magic of the season.

Showcase Details

• Each showcase block is approximately 20 minutes.
• Each dancer may bring 3–4 guests as space is limited. We will have both seating and standing room available.
• Feel free to take photos and videos to share with family and friends!
• Please arrive to the DK Extension 10 minutes prior to your dancer’s start time.
• If your dancer cannot attend, please let us know so we can plan accordingly.

What to Wear

Tots and Lil Movers Classes:
• Anything red and white (green, gold, silver, or black accents are totally fine!)
• If they have a leotard with a tutu or skirt, great! If not, please ensure shorts are worn under any skirt or dress.
• Tops should be form-fitting, not baggy.

Acro Classes:
• No skirts or dresses.
• Form-fitting clothing such as a leotard, leggings, or shorts is perfect.

ALL Mini, Junior, Pre-Teen & Teen Classes:
• Wear any combination of red, green, and/or black for a festive, holiday-themed look!

Junior Musical Theater (Thursdays 5:00):

• More green than red...I am getting elf hats :-) Unless they have their own!

Pre-Teen Hip Hop (Thursdays at 7:30pm):
• Please wear green and black.

Winter Showcase 2025

All of our Dancers will performance in the DK Winter Showcase held in the DK Extension!

This is a fun way to celebrate the holiday season with love and cheer as the dancers demonstrate some of what they have been putting together in class!

WHEN? The dancers will perform ON their class day during the week of December 15-20. The times may vary.

What do the dancers wear? They get to design their own costume for the showcase! We will give a theme of colors/examples and they get to put it together themselves!

How Much? There is NO additional fee for the Winter Showcase!

We are SO EXCITED for our 22nd annual Spring Performance "ROCKIN' THE DANCE FLOOR" and even more excited to have YOU ALL a part of it!
This is a celebration of dance and this amazing community! 
All of our DK dancers ages 2 & up are included in our Spring Performance Experience in June.
This is our BIG SHOW at Nazareth University’s BEAUTIFUL Callahan Theater!

SHOW DATES: June 6, 2026 (at Nazareth University's Callahan Theater) - Times TBD.
Company and Apprentice Showcase June 7 at Callahan Theater Time TBD

Stage Rehearsal: June 5, 2026 (at Nazareth University's Callahan Theater)
In-Studio Dress Rehearsal: May 30-June 4, 2026 (a specific schedule will be available 2 months prior) (at DK Dance Studio)

Spring Performance Experience:
Payment option #1 $185 if paid November 15 charged on the portal and automatically withdrawn with the card on file.
Company dancer Spring Performance Payment is $125
OR
Payment option #2 Bundle Installments (5 payments) $39 charged November 15, and the added to tuition December thru March. 

FOR THIS OPTION FILL OUT THIS FORM:
*These payments will be charged on the 1st of the month. November will be charged $39 on November 15. Additional Costumes must be paid in full.

MINI COMBO DANCERS: Will have 2 costumes. The fee for the Mini Combo dancers is $260

Please Note: - If a dancer is in more than one class, or there is more than 1 dancer in a family, additional costume fees apply.

- Additional costume fee for dancers in more than 1 class: $75 per costume. Additional costume fees are due November 15th.

FAMILIES WITH MORE THAN 1 DANCER: Performance Fee of $125 for Additional dancers in the immediate.

For example: If you have 2 dancers, each in 1 class, Suzy and Jane: Suzy will be $185 and Jane $125.

*If you do not plan to have your dancer a part of our Spring Performance, please notify us via email ASAP.

What is DRESS REHEARSAL WEEK?

This is when the dancers come to DK Dance Extension and practice their dance in front of a small audience!
• This is a Full Dress Rehearsal!

All dancers will meet at DK Extension at the scheduled time in the schedule

• Please bring your child dressed in their first performance costume with hair and makeup done. (You will get that info separately)

• You will check them in to receive your dancers Show Shirt which they will wear at Stage rehearsal on Friday, June 6 and during the FINALE!

•1 guest can attend with the dancer for the Dress Rehearsal.

Dress rehearsals are essential for young dancers because they provide:

Confidence and Comfort on Stage – Rehearsing in costume and on the actual stage helps young dancers get used to the performance environment, reducing stage fright and boosting their confidence.
Timing and Transitions Practice – Dress rehearsals help young dancers learn their entrances, exits, and cues, making the final performance smoother and more polished. Practicing in real-time with lighting, music, and stage spacing ensures they are well-prepared for showtime.

What is Picture Week?!
This is a week held right at DK Dance Studio, where we have SLR Photography transform the dance studio into a photo studio!

*The Dancers will arrive IN THEIR DANCE COSTUMES

*dancers will Check in with an SLR staff member prior to taking their picture

*They will take a GROUP PHOTO and an INDIVIDUAL photo!

*You will receive a proof email of the photo and be able to order right online!
